Defne Koz's Foglia, Italian for leaf, is a bathroom collection that draws its inspiration from the thin, subtle concave surfaces found in nature. The design celebrates water, not by containing it within a volume, but by allowing it to interact with gentle, curved, and organic shapes. Every detail of Foglia, from design to production, reflects a deep respect for nature and a commitment to preserving life resources for future generations. This is evident in its use of less and natural materials.

What sets Foglia apart from other designs is its unique properties. The washbasins curve to follow their connection to the wall, available in various shapes, round and rectangular, some of which can be placed on a matching countertop. The pans share similar details. The collection also includes a curved mirror and etagere, a mobile caisson with brake mechanism wheels, an integrated towel holder, a Corian tray, and a jewelry drawer. Customers also have the option to choose from three different color coatings.

The realization of Foglia's design involved a special process during the mold stage. The backed washbasins were carefully removed from the mold while still in the form of wet biscuits, ensuring that their thin bands were not damaged. To prevent distortion of the 90-degree angle between the base and the back wall, an undercoat was applied to the thin bands before the glazing process. The 90-degree angle was then preserved with a special firing apparatus during the oven firing of the backed washbasin.
